Alexandra Squires
Coronado Speed
Festival
Alexandra Squires is the
Coronado Speed Festival’s event hospitality chair, and as
the chair she is responsible for the responsible for the
Winner’s Circle and Driver’s Lounge VIP accommodations, and
overall catering functions during the weekend. She uses
her background in event planning to coordinate the many
details that go into planning such an exciting program of
events that occur over the race weekend.
Alexandra graduated from
the University of San Diego in 1992. She has been
volunteering for the Speed Festival for many years and feels
that being part of Fleet Week San Diego is a spectacular way
for
our military and the
San Diego community to show their appreciation to the men
and women who serve our country and protect our freedom. She
particularly enjoys the “weekend of speed” and the fast
cars, talking with our servicemen and women and the
interesting military static displays.
Alexandra remains active
in the community as a member of the San Diego Bowl
Association and Rebuilding Together San Diego. She is a
devoted San Diego Padres baseball fan and loves to shoe shop
in her free time.
