Sharon Bernie-Cloward
Fleet Week Director of Board
Sharon Bernie-Cloward is using her 20 years of experience in
communications, marketing and event planning to execute the
many details of Fleet Week San Diego serving as director for
this year’s events.
Sharon has earned two bachelors degrees in International
Business Marketing and as a Registered Nurse. She has used
her diverse skills to work in a variety of careers including
nursing at Children’s Hospital in Oakland, acting as
president of San Diego Port Tenants Associations and as
executive assistant of the American Cup 1995.
She dedicates her time
to the community by serving on such boards as the Point Loma
High School Parent Teacher Association and the Point Loma
Association. Sharon is also a certified, U.S. Captain with a
100 ton license and sailing endorsements. She loves
participating in sailboat races and stays active by jogging
and hiking.
